For hardware installation, you will need a drill, Phillips-head screwdriver, pencil, and measuring tape. Please note that the gate may appear bent initially, but this is normal and will be corrected upon proper installation. Make sure to measure your opening before purchasing to ensure the gate fits properly.

The Summer Modern Home Safety Dog and Baby Gate is 30" tall and fits openings ranging from 28-42". The gate features an 18" wide door that swings both ways and stays open when engaged at more than 90 degrees. When the door is opened less than 90 degrees, it will auto-close. A stopper is included to prevent the door from swinging over stairs when installed at the top.

The gate locks securely to keep babies, toddlers, and dogs contained, with narrowly spaced bars to prevent them from squeezing through. Adults can easily open the door with one hand by engaging the latch and pulling up on the door. This gate has been third-party safety tested and approved, ensuring the utmost safety for your little ones and furry friends. Please be aware that this gate will not fit openings of 32-33" or 37-38".
